Bad Heparin

Andrew Zajac's picture

We have run into some bad heparin.   We collected data and I will post it here.  We stopped collecting data when the results started to get better.  We figured that someone may have left a box of heparin laying in the sun too long, because we had heparin from the same lot number that would sometimes work fine, and somtimes not.

The Heparin we use is Hepalean  by Organon.  We use 10ml and 30ml vials of 1000 units per cc.
